摘要主要介绍英国著名语言学家R．Quirketal关于英语名词转成动词的八种类型，分析其语义关系，并探讨其修辞特色。 This thesis covers R.Quirk et al's eight groups of conversion from English nouns to verbs. It analyzes the semantic relationship between the nouns and the converted verbs and explores their rhetoric features.
