Optimization of Die Casting Process for Oil Pan Based on CAE

摘要 油底壳作为汽车发动机的重要零部件,形状复杂且尺寸较大。在实际压铸生产时,油底壳内部易产生缩松、缩孔缺陷,致使其合格率较低。利用ProCAST软件对油底壳压铸工艺进行CAE模拟,优化工艺参数,主要研究了压射速度和浇注温度对缩松、缩孔缺陷的影响。最终结合实际,调整压铸工艺参数进行生产验证,以压射速度为3.0m/s,浇注温度为660℃进行生产,可以得到品质良好的油底壳。 The oil pan has complex shape with large size as an important part of the engine.In actual die casting production,shrinkage cavity(porosities)defects are easy to occur in the inner of the oil pan,resulting in low qualified rate.Therefore,ProCAST software was used to simulate the die casting process of oil pan by CAE and to optimize the process parameters.Influence of injection speed and pouring temperature on shrinkage cavity(porosities)defects was mainly investigated and the corresponding mechanism was presented.Finally,according to the actual conditions,the die casting process parameters were adjusted to injection velocity of 3.0 m/s and pouring temperature of 660℃,obtaining the qualified oil pan.
