盐藻β-胡萝卜素对实验性动脉粥样硬化的作用 被引量:8

THE EFFECTS OF BETA-CAROT ENE FROM DUNALIELIA SALINA ON EXPERIMENTAL ATHEROSCLEROSIS IN QUAILS

摘要 ①目的 观察盐藻 β 胡萝卜素 (β C )对实验性动脉粥样硬化的作用 ,并探讨其可能的作用机制。 ②方法 选用健康雄性鹌鹑 12 0只 ,随机分为 6组 ,每组 2 0只 ,分别用灌胃法连续 8周喂以普通饲料 +花生油 (普饲对照组 )、高脂饲料 +花生油 (高饲对照组 )、高脂饲料 +β C 6 .2 5、12 .5 0、2 5 .0 0、5 0 .0 0mg/kg(A、B、C、D组 )。从第9周开始各组换以普通饲料继续喂养至 11周。分别于实验第 8、11周末检测各组血清总胆固醇 (TC)、三酰甘油(TG)、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇 (HDL C)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇 (LDL C)、极低密度脂蛋白胆固醇 (VLDL C) ,并计算HDL C/TC比值。同时 ,测定动脉壁TC、游离胆固醇 (FC)、胆固醇酯 (CE)含量。③结果 实验第 8周末 ,B、C组动脉壁TC、CE含量较高饲对照组低 ,差异有显著性 (F =5 .36、15 .89,q =3.94~ 5 .38,P <0 .0 5 )。第 11周末 ,B、C、D组血清TC、LDL C、VLDL C及动脉壁TC、CE含量低于高饲对照组 ,HDL C/TC比值高于高饲对照组 ,差异均有显著性 (F =5 .6 7~ 37.2 7,q =2 .17~ 5 .13,P <0 .0 5 )。 ④结论 β C可通过调节脂肪代谢 ,降低过氧化脂质 ,减少胆固醇特别是CE在动脉壁的沉积而阻抑动脉粥样硬化的形成和发展。 Objective\ To study the effects of beta car otene from dunalielia salina on experimental atherosclerosis in quails and its p ossible mechanisms.\ Methods\ In this study, 120 healthy male quails were divided rando mly into six groups based on oral feeding with different diet everyday. Eight we eks later, all high cholesterol diet for quails was changed to ordinary one dur ing the last two weeks(from nine to 11 weeks) . At the end of seventh and 10th w eeks, the venous blood of quails in each group was collected for detection of se rum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein choleste rol(HDL C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL C) and the value of LDL C , VLDL C and the ratio of HDL C/TC were calculated. Ten quails in each group were killed and the aorta artery taken out, the contents of total cholesterol(T C), free cholesterol(FC) and cholesterol ester (CE) in arterial wall measured. \ Results\ At the end of eighth week, the levels of TC and CE in the arterial wall of groups B and C were lower than those of higher cholesterol d iet control group ( F=5.36,15.89; q=3.94-5.38; P <0.05). At the end of 11th week, the levels of serum TC, LDL C and VLDL as well as TC and CE in arterial wall of groups B, C, and D were lower and the rate of HDL C/TC was higher than those of high cholesterol diet controls ( F=5.67-37.27,q=2.17-5.13,P < 0 .05 ).\ Conclusion\ LDL C could regulate lipid metabolism, scavenge the l ipoperoxidation and inhibit the deposition of cholesterol and its ester in the arterial wall to prevent the development of AS.
