摘要
一、引言国家自然科学基金资助项目——中国地壳应力图的编制,历经4a(1991~1994年),经有关专家评审验收,现已完成.主要内容有:①中国地壳应力图,比例尺1:500万,幅长110cm,宽81cm,由彩色计算机制图;②中国地壳应力数据库,储存各种应力方向资料1500条,应力值1510条;③中国地壳应力图说明书.中国地壳应力图是一幅资料性为主,兼有一定学术意义的图件,它汇集了我国各有关部门20几年来所积累的实测资料, 较系统地反映了我国现今地壳应力场特征.它将为资源开发、环境保护和减轻地质灾害服务.
Until the end of december 1994,we had compiled a total of 3010 entries of stress of data.The Recent Crustal Stress Map of China had been finished.In the map 1500 entries of the data indicate stress orientations and 1510 entries indicate stress magnitudes.Six types of stress data are used as tectonic stress indicators,they are well bore breakouts,hydraulic fracture,earthquake focal mechanism,stress-relief measurement,fault slip and volcanic alignments.According to the distribution of orientations and magnitudes of principal stresses,a crustal stress map of China is constructed.From the stress map we flnd that the continental stress field of China can be divided into two major stress provinces(first-order)separated by the North-South-Seismologic Zone.The mean orientation of SHmax in eastern stress province is generally E-W,while that in the western stress province is S-N.The east includes three second-order stress provinces,mean orientations of SHmax are approximately 120°(between 90°and 150°)in the South China,75°(between 60°and 90°)in the North China,and 90°(between 85°and 95°)in the North-East China.The west includes also three second-order stress provinces,the mean orientions of SHmax are approximately 180°(between 150°and 240°)in the Qing-Zang plateau,60°(between 50°and 70°)in the Talimu-Tianshan-Aertai areas,and 18°(between 10°and 25°)in the Yunnan plteau.It can be considered that the stress provinces in the eastern part may be controlled by the subductions of the Pacific and Philippine plate,while those in the western part are obviously subjected to a strong push caused by the collision between the India-Australian and the Eurasian plate.
