摘要
伊藤版和井波版《红楼梦》在王熙凤人物语言翻译上呈现出不同的文体风格。伊藤版文体郑重,古香古色。而井波版平实易懂,容易亲近。这既是个人风格的体现,同时也受到译者所处不同时代的影响,可以说是译者视域与原文本、读者视域融合的结果。经考察得出伊藤版本的第一目标读者是"专家型学者",译文的不断"改雅"现象都是此目标下的驱动。而井波版本把则年轻人作为目标读者。不同的读者意识也对两位译者的文体决策产生了影响。
Ito Sohei and Inami Ryoichi presented totally different styles in their Japanese translations of speeches by Wang Xifeng, a character in Hongloumeng (A Dream of Red Mansions)Ito’s translation is formal and classical, while Inami’s is easier to understand and more intimate. Such variation shows the translator’s personal preference and the influence of different times,at the same time it results from the merging of different horizons of the translators, the source text, and the reader. Through the analysis of this paper, it is found that the prior target readers of Ito’s version are 'experts' and that the 'refinement' phenomenon in his translation is driven by this target;while Inami put the young generation as his target readers. So it is that different reader responses also influence these two translators in their choice of style.
