摘要
阐述了光时域反射仪OTDR的测试原理,分析了光缆线路故障的现象和产生的原因;并利用光时域反射仪(OTDR)对光缆线路故障点的准确定位进行了研究.分析了OTDR进行各种故障准确定位时所得后向散射信号曲线的特征,推断出与之对应的光缆故障种类,如断纤故障和光损增大故障;同时,又测量出测试点到故障点的光纤长度.对测试中产生的误差进行了分析,提出了减少误差的措施.由此总结出将测试长度换算成地面长度的计算方法,提高了光缆线路故障快速定位的准确度.
This paper has discussed the principle of Optical Time Domain Ref le ctormeter (OTDR). The reasons and phenomena of various fiber cable troubles are discussed. The features of back scanning signal curve using OTDR are analyzed wh en locating fiber cable trouble accurately and the classification of fiber cable troubles is deduced. After that, the measuring errors which are caused by OTDR are analyzed and measures which can reduce errors are pointed out. At last, calc ulation method for the ground length with measurement is given. So locating fibe r cable troubles accuracy is improved.
