摘要
教会大学是西方传教士为文化侵略需要,在我国开办的高等教育机构。其在近现代中国的历史发展过程,是极其复杂而曲折的。本文从教会大学的教育功能着眼,来探讨其给我们留下许多成功的或失败的办学经验。这对我国当前深化高校教育改革有着重要的借鉴作用。
Missionary Universities were the higher education institutions established in China by the west missionaries at the request of cultural invasion.It experienced a winding development in the con-temporary and modern history of China.From the perspective of educational function,this paper explores the experience of success or failure in running schools,which can do a favor to the present higher edu-cation reform.
