摘要
简述《论美》通过两个家庭的纠葛展示全球化语境下文化差异引发的冲突。阐释在福柯的空间权力理论视角下,权力对空间进行规训的同时也遭遇空间的抵抗:知识的纪律化受到非主流审美的抵制,身体的权力印记由于主体对身体的多义转化而被消解,家庭空间的父权遭遇边缘空间的解构。空间的权力规训和反抗重新划分了中心和边缘的界限,并促进了多样化空间的整合。
On Beauty depicts interactions between two families and demonstrates cultural conflicts in a globalized world. Under the perspective of Foucault’s spatial theory of power,the normalization of knowledge is counteracted by non-canon aesthetics;power on body is tampered by the subject’s poly-semantic interpretation of her body;patriarchy in domestic space is deconstructed by marginal space. Power discipline is negotiated and resisted in space and the distinction between center and margin is redefined so that a multiple space is generated.
