摘要
词汇问题是成人学习英语的最大障碍之一。该文通过问卷调查发现语境对成人英语词汇学习有着明显的影响。文章在结合调查结果与成人英语学习特点的基础上,阐述了语境与成人英语词汇学习的关系,从而证明在语境中学习不仅符合成人词汇学习的特点,而且对成人进行语义理解和外语学习有着重要的作用。
The vocabulary learning is the biggest barrier in the adult English learning. By analyzing the questionaire, we found that the context has an obvious effect on adult English vocabulary learning. On the basis of the questionaire and the traits of adult English learning, we can elaborate the relationship between context and the adult English vocabulary learning, then it proves that learning in context not only accords with the adult vocabulary learning traits, but also it plays an important role in semantic comprehension and FL learning.
