摘要
人们在认识到创业活动对经济发展的意义的同时,也观察到创业的高失败率、新创企业发展质量不容乐观和成长出现巨大差异的社会经济现象。因此,有必要建立一套可以解释新创企业如何才能存活下来并做大做强的理论。本文采用扎根理论的方法,以中国大陆、台湾、香港的11位大型企业创始人的传记为素材,进行多案例研究。研究发现,这些企业家通过影响企业文化的创建来影响企业的发展。企业文化创建的过程可分为三个方面:精神创建方面,他们深入一线、目光长远;制度创建方面,他们具有科学管理和创新驱动两大特征;生态创建方面,他们建立了企业内部协调和外部适应的机制。本文所建立的企业文化三维创建理论,既丰富了领导风格、企业文化和创业的理论,又为如何成为成功的创业者提供了建议。
Entrepreneurial activities contribute to economic growth.Nevertheless,entrepreneurial activities also have high failure rate,and new ventures tend to have bleak prospect and exhibit high growth variances.Thus,there is a need for theory that can explain how new business ventures can survive and prosper.Adopting a grounded theory approach,we conducted the current research by reading the biographies of 11 founders of large enterprises from Chinese mainland,Chinese Taiwan,and Chinese Hong Kong.We found that founders influence the development of their corporation by influencing its corporate culture.There are three aspects to corporate culture construction.On the aspect of spiritual construction,founders stayed at the front-line and they were far-sighted.On the aspect of institutional construction,they focused on scientific management and innovation.On the aspect of ecological construction,they built mechanisms for internal negotiation and external adaptation.The three-dimension construction theory of corporate culture,which we develop in this study,not only enhances the literature on leadership,culture and entrepreneurship,but provides also recommendations for entrepreneurs about how to be successful.
