摘要
应侯视工簋盖铭"?氒众"和师?簋铭"博氒众叚"比较费解,学界颇多争议。据新出曾侯与编钟铭文"恃有众庶",本文认为"?"与"博"均当读作"怙",训为"恃"。"■"与"叚"当读作"庶"。"?氒众■"、"博氒众叚"、"恃有众庶"与典籍习见之"负其众庶"可相互参证。
The similar verses ‘■氒众■ ’ in the inscriptions of Yinghou Shigong gui and ‘ 博 氒 众 叚 ’ in Shiyuan gui are relatively well-explained and articulated before. Inspired by the verse ‘ 恃 有 众 庶 ’ in inscriptions of Zenghou Yu chime-bells that were recently unearthed, this paper suggests that both bo( ?) and bo( 博) should be read as hu( 怙) and be translated to ‘self-assurance’( 恃). Meanwhile, the two characters lv(■)and jie( 叚) should be read as xu( 庶). In other words, those verses like ‘■氒众■ ’, ‘ 博氒众叚 ’, and ‘ 恃有众庶 ’ should be translated to the verse ‘ 负其众庶 ’ that was commonly found in text.
