摘要
目的 了解我国老年人群身体超重和肥胖的现状 ,并且探讨肥胖与增龄的关系。 方法 在 12个地区中随机抽取 2 2个城乡社区 60～ 99岁老年人 82 5 0人 ,同时抽取同一社区的老年前期 (5 5～ 5 9岁 )和中年人 (40～ 5 4岁 ) 1764 6人。测量了体重指数 (BMI)、腰围 (WC)和腰臀比 (WHR)3项指标。肥胖诊断按中国标准。 结果 按年龄调整计算我国老年人群的超重率为 :男 3 2 .92 % ,女 3 4.84% ;肥胖率 :男 8.79% ,女 17.10 % ;WC即腹型肥胖 :男 43 .10 % ,女 5 5 .43 % ;体脂不均匀分布 :男 17.5 8% ,女 10 .98% ;不同人群之间的超重和肥胖率显著不同 ,表现有男、女间差别 ,城乡差别 ,南北方差别 ,地区间的差别。肥胖与衰老的增龄性分析表明 :腹型肥胖是较好的指标 ,其次是体脂不均匀分布 ,而BMI相反 ,随老年人年龄增长而下降。 结论 老年人肥胖 ,尤其是腹型肥胖与增龄性密切关联 。
Objective To clarify the current prevalence status of overweight and obesity in elder populations in China and to explore the relationship between the obesity and age increment. Methods A total of 8 250 old people aged from 60 to 99 years were randomly included in the study. As controls, 3 319 individuals with agedness prophase (55 59 yrs) and 14 327 middle aged individuals (40 54 yrs) also were randomly selected from the same communities in 12 areas in China. Body mass index, waist circumference(WC) and hip circumferences (HC) were screened in 22 elder populations in 12 areas in China. Results Based on age adjusted prevalence, the rates of overweight and obesity were 32.94% and 8.79% in male, 34.84% and 17.10% in female, respectively, in Chinese elderly population. The prevalence of overweight, obesity, WC and WC/HC ratio (WHR) between male and female population showed significant differences. The prevalence overweight and obesity in different populations among different areas was markedly different and the prevalence was higher in northern, in urban, and in big cities. The association analysis between the aging and the obesity showed that WC was a best parameter, representing the abdomen obesity, which was an efficient item to reflect the aging. Conclusions The obesity, especially ventral obesity in the old aged person is one of the important risk factors associated with the healthy status of the elders, and may also be an important indicator reflecting body aging in the elders.
