摘要
采用气相色谱法对 4只大熊猫雄体和 2只雌体尿液中的挥发性成分进行了初步分析 ,并分别对 2种性别之间、性活跃与不活跃雄体之间、繁殖期与非繁殖期之间进行了比较 .结果发现 ,繁殖期雄体尿液中主要包含大约 2 9种挥发性物质 ,性活跃雄性个体的尿液中保留时间短的成分较性不活跃的多 ,2只性活跃雄体与 1只雌体尿液中挥发性成分除 2种成分不同外 ,其余基本一致 ;非繁殖期保留时间短的成分较繁殖期明显减少 .研究结果表明 ,雄性个体尿液中挥发性成分的多少可能与个体的性活跃能力有关 ,雄性个体可能通过尿液传递有关个体的性别、社会地位等信息 .
The urinary volatile profiles of captive giant pandas (4 males and 2 females) ar e analyzed by gas chromatograph (GC) and compared between two genders, sexuall y active and inactive males, breeding season and nonbreeding season, respectivel y. It is found that there are about 29 volatile constituents in panda's urine. T here are more volatile constituents in the urine of sexually active males th an in sexually inactive ones and more in breeding season than in non-breeding season. The result of two constituents absent from the adult females' urine ind icates that these two compounds might be related to individual gender. The resul ts suggest that these small and volatile constituents might play an important ro le for sex and individual recognition during mating season and may be indicative for the individual's sexual ability. Yet evidences for their behavioral functio n need further study.
