摘要
通过讨论翻译中词层的不对等,说明了译本和源文本不可能达到完全一致,因此不必囿于语言上及语义上简单的"对等"、和"一致"的束缚,而应视翻译为有独立个性和生命的一门艺术,是与原著平等的艺术形式。作为译者,应该把译文与原著在整体艺术效果上的等效作为翻译的最高原则。
Through the discussion of lack of equivalence at word level,it is argued that the target text is not going to be the same as the source text,so we need not to tie ourselves up with the problems of originality and authenticity,but try to achieve the same artistic effect in the translation.
