There is no report on the extraction of gold with this extractant so far. In the system of extraction: HAuCl4 （CM=0.01M）/HCl（0.1—9N）/(i-C8H17)2NCH2·COOH（C3=0.01F）1,2-dichloroethane （50％, in volume）kerosene, we changed the concentration of hydrochloric acid and found that the plots of log D against log [HCl] presented a straight line with slope—0.5.
