摘要
传统大学英语阅读教学侧重字、词、句的表层意义理解。主位推进理论下的阅读模式从新的视角帮助学习者从整体上理解语篇的逻辑结构和发展模式,进而优化阅读效果,形成自主阅读下的有效思维能力。
Traditional teaching of reading puts its emphasis on the understanding of the surface meaning via the analysis of words, phrases and sentences. The paper points out the new reading paradigm from the perspective of thematic progression may help students understand the logical structure and development pattern of a discourse as a whole. And students can accordingly develop effective thinking ability in autonomous reading with maximized reading effect.
