摘要
语篇是翻译的基本单位,本文将以Francis Bacon的Of Study及王佐良的汉译本为例,进行英汉对比分析其衔接手段,旨在探索篇章衔接在英汉语际转换中的内在规律,帮助英语学习者形成语篇意识。
Text is the basic unit of translation. This paper takes Francis Bacon's Of Study and Wang Zuoliang's Chinese translation as examples to make a contrastive analysis of their cohesive devices in English and Chinese. The purpose of this paper is to explore the internal rules of textual cohesion in English-Chinese interlingual transformation and to help English learners to form textual awareness.
