摘要
"衔接"是篇章语言学中的一个重要概念。篇章语言学超越孤立的单句研究,从结构和功能角度来研究交际活动中的语篇。将这一理论运用到大学英语写作教学中去,正是强调了英语写作的篇章性,而不是简单的词汇和句子的堆砌。本文作者采用实验的手段,将基于篇章语言学的衔接理论运用到写作教学中,试图解决以下三个问题:1)非英语专业学生作文中存在衔接的问题?2)衔接的相关理论对提高学生写作能力的作用?3)如果学生可以受益于篇章语言学的相关知识。
Text linguistics could be seen as a science of texts.The objective of text linguistics is to explain how coherent texts are produced and understood by analyzing the language unit larger than the sentence.The author conducts her research and tries to recommend this theory,especially the knowledge of cohesion and coherence to her students as non-English majors with the pur-pose of exploring the effective ways of teaching English writing,improving college students' writing ability.This study is guid-ed by the following three research questions:(1) Does the instruction of theory of cohesion and coherence help students improve their English writing.(2) what are the cohesion and coherence problems exist in students'compositions.(3) If students can get benefit from the instruction of the theory of text linguistics,what teaching methods can be applied in English writing teaching.
