从生态翻译学视角探讨葛浩文的翻译思想,我们可以清晰地看到Howard Goldblatt的翻译实践观——在尽可能忠实于源语信息的基础上,译者适时变通,甚至是再创造,以求翻译生态环境和谐统一,最大程度地对源语信息进行解码,为读者奉上至佳的译作。
Eco-translatology is a combination of Translation and Ecology, which promotes the study of translation from the per?spective of ecology. In this paper, the author will make an exploration of Howard Goldblatt ’s translation philosophies in light of the theory of eco-translatology. Howard Goldblatt advocates that based on the source language text, translators should make ap?propriate adaptations or even recreations in order to set up harmonious ecology of translation. The decoding of Goldblatt ’s excel?lent translation may provide a reference for translators in the practice of introducing outstanding literary works.
