摘要
语法的学习与语言实际应用能力的提高相辅相成。将英文报刊应用到大学英语语法教学中,设计并组织一定的教学活动,可以使学生领会语法规则在真实语境中的应用;并使学生在阅读英语新闻的过程中,更为深刻地理解、巩固所学的语法知识。该文以定语从句、被动语态、间接引语三个语法项为例,探讨英文报刊在大学英语语法教学中的应用。
Effective communication and effective grammar are linked.If English newspaper text is used in the teaching,and learning of grammar in the college English language classroom,students will understand grammar rules better,since they can see how the rules are applied in the real English world.They learn grammar through some activities based on the English newspaper text while they are reading newspaper,and their English is thus improved.In this article the author makes a study of the use of English newspaper text in the teaching and learning of grammar in the college English classroom,with Relative clauses,Passives and Reported Speech as examples.
