摘要
教材词汇评估是教材评估的一项重要内容,也是评估教材实施教学大纲情况的主要方面。英语教材的词汇评估主要可以分为词汇广度和深度的评估。其具体体现为三条标准,第一个标准是"量"的要求;第二个标准就是词汇在教材中的合理安排设计及运用,即词汇在教材中安排设计所呈现的体系;第三个标准即词汇的考察有没有做到融会贯通,温故知新,即主要生词的词汇复现率。在这三条标准的指导下,选取大学英语精读教材进行评估,得出相应的结论及启示。
College English textbook evaluation is a crucial part of textbook evaluation and it is also a major aspect of evaluating its implementation of curriculum requirements.College English textbook evaluation can be divided into two aspects,including vocabulary breathand depth.And there are three principles to follow:the first one is the requirements of vocabulary amount.The second one is the arrangements and design of vocabulary.The third one is the reoccurrences of new vocabulary.Following these three principles,the study evaluates the textbook New Horizon and finds out its conclusions and enlightenments.
