在美国,"镀金时代"是美国核心家庭模式形成的重要时期。在这一时期,工业化、城市化以及女权运动对民众的生育观念产生了重大影响,最终结果就是使核心家庭模式成为美国主流家庭模式。核心家庭地位的确立,又进一步对家庭内部成员之间的关系、家庭职能产生重大影响。
'Gilded age' is the important formation period of nuclear family in the United States.During this period,industrialization,urbanization and the feminist movement influenced the people's concept of child-bearing,the result of which is that the nuclear family model became the mainstream of the American family pattern.The establishment of the nuclear family position had a significant impact on the family member relationship and family functions.
