摘要
目的检测表皮-钙黏附素(E-CD)、α-连接素(α-cat)在结直肠癌中的表达及探讨其与结直肠癌临床病理特征的关系。方法应用免疫组织化学的方法(EnVision法)检测E-CD、α-cat在115例结直肠癌、19例结直肠腺瘤、10例正常结直肠黏膜中的表达,分析E-CD、α-cat与结直肠癌浸润、转移和预后之间的关系。结果E-CD、α-cat在正常结直肠黏膜中呈保存型表达。在结直肠腺瘤中,E-CD、α-cat保存型表达减低。在结直肠癌中21.7%的E-CD和42.6%的α-cat呈保存型表达;E-CD、α-cat表达与肿瘤浸润深度、静脉侵犯、淋巴管侵犯、淋巴结侵犯、Dukes分期显著相关(P<0.05);E-CD、α-cat表达与结直肠癌患者生存率显著相关。结论E-CD、α-cat表达下调的结直肠癌病期晚、预后差,α-cat的表达类型是患者生存率的独立预后指标。
Objective To examine the expression of E cadherin(E CD) and α catenin(α cat) in colorectal cancer tissues and,to evaluate its relationship with clinicopathological features of colorectal cancer. Methods Expression of E CD,α cat was examined in 10 normal colorectal mucosas,19 colorectal adenomas, and 115 colorectal cancers by immunohistochemical method(EnVision), and relationship of the expression of E CD and α cat with infiltration, metastasis and prognosis in colorectal cancer were analyzed. Results All the normal colorectal mucosas epithelium(10/10) expressed E CD,α cat as preserved. For colorectal adenomas, preserved expression of E CD, α cat was reduced. For colorectal cancers, 21 7% expressed E CD as preserved, 42 6% expressed α cat as preserved. The expression patterns of E CD,α cat were significantly correlated with survival rate of colorectal cancer patients (P< 0 01). Conclusions The reduced expression of E CD, α cat indicates advanced cancer and poorer prognosis. α cat expression type in tumor epithelium is an independent prognostic predictor of colorectal cancer patients.
