摘要
Carl Wieman科学教育改革(Carl Wieman Science Education Initiative缩写CWSEI)是加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学(UBC)多年以来持续推进的一项教学改革项目,该项目使得该校的本科生培养水平获得极大提高,成为全球高校本科生教育的典范。我们观摩了经过CWSEI改革的大学物理课程(phys100)整整一个学期。本文将结合观摩中发现的该课程教学中表现出的优点,对比国内现状,讨论其对国内高校大学物理教学的启示以及相应可能的改革措施。
The Carl Wieman Science Education Initiative(CWSEI)is a multi-year project at the University of British Columbia(UBC)aimed at dramatically improving undergraduate science education.It makes the University of British Columbia one of the top universities in undergraduate education in the world.We have been observing aphysics course(phys100)reformed by the Carl Wieman Science Education Initiative at the University of British Columbia for a hole semester.In this paper,we generalized the features in this course.By comparing them with physics education currently in China,we discussed enlightenment from CWSEI.Possible initiatives to reform physics courses is also investigated.
