基于Micromegas的紧凑型轻量化时间投影室研制

摘要 为实现紧凑、轻量的目标,采用128路二维条读出的光刻一体化微结构探测器作为时间投影室的核心读出探测器,并对该探测器的工作条件和性能进行研究。该时间投影室的灵敏体积为10cm×10cm×8 cm,总质量小于2.5 kg,探测器雪崩区厚度为100μm。为在保证时间投影室密封性的同时减小其总质量,采用双重嵌套结构低物质量腔室和法兰环式设计。通过引入共模扼流环减小探测器成像中的噪声幅度,消除成像中的噪点以及各路信号的周期性噪声。当腔室中工作气体为93%Ar+7%CO_(2),流速到达0.6 L/min时,测得α粒子的径迹。测试结果与Geant4软件的模拟结果显示出较好的一致性,验证了该时间投影室具有较佳的粒子径迹探测能力。 To enhance the compactness and lightness of the time projection chamber(TPC),an integrated Micromegas detector with a 128-channel two-dimensional strip-readout system was employed as its core readout component,and its working conditions and performance were investigated.The TPC features a sensitive volume of 10 cm×10 cm×8 cm,weights less than 2.5 kg,and has an avalanche region thickness of 100μm in the detector.To ensure the TPC’s sealing while minimizing its mass,a dual nested structure with a low-mass chamber and a flange ring was designed.The incorporation of a common mode choke coil reduced noise in detector imaging,eliminating noise points and periodic noise from various signals.The TPC successfully measured the trajectories of alpha particles using a working gas mixture of 93%Ar and 7%CO_(2)at a flow rate of 0.6 L/min.Test results show good agreement with simulation outcomes obtained using Geant4 software,confirming the TPC’s effective particle track detection capabilities.
