摘要
该研究聚焦关键数字技术引领的新质生产力,基于2008—2022年上市公司和供业链中小企业的匹配数据,采用5G试点政策的准自然实验方法,实证检验了5G试点政策对企业碳绩效的影响,并从供应链深度数字化的新视角展开多角度的机制分析。实证结果显示:(1)有别于一般数字技术创新,关键数字技术引领的新质生产力发展,对企业自身碳绩效提升具有更强效能,且通过了交错DID、工具变量和机器学习模型等一系列的稳健性检验,但对整个供应链未发现有显著的总量碳减排效应,对供应链上企业的碳绩效提升效应也暂不明显。(2)供应链深度数字化的机制分析表明,关键数字技术引领的新质生产力发展,对供应链数字化的影响更显著。一方面,企业自身生产的深度数字化使得能源利用率更高;另一方面,供应链深度数字化对提高供应链效率、优化供需匹配、稳定供需关系、增加供应商创新等方面的影响更显著。(3)数字供应链金融的机制分析表明,有别于一般数字技术创新作用的不显著,数字供应链金融的发展在改善供应链信息不对称、缓解融资约束方面发挥了显著的正面作用。基于此,在新质生产力的建设中,应着力加强关键数字技术的研发和应用,推动供应链的深度数字化转型升级和数字供应链金融的发展,探索数字供应链金融的“脱核”模式,助力“双碳”目标的实现。
This study focuses on the new quality productive forces driven by key digital technologies.Based on data from China's listed companies and small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) in the supply chain from 2008 to 2022,it empirically examined their impact on corporate carbon performance using methods such as a quasi-natural experiment with the 5G pilot policy.The study conducted a multi-faceted mechanism analysis from the new perspective of supply chain in-depth digitalization.The empirical results revealed that:(1) Unlike general digital technology innovation,the new quality productive forces led by key digital technologies had a stronger effect on improving corporate carbon performance,as confirmed by a series of robustness tests including staggered difference-in-differences(DID),instrumental variables,and machine learning models.However,there was no significant overall carbon reduction effect,and the impact on the carbon performance of the entire supply chain remained limited.(2) For the first time,the mechanisms of supply chain in-depth digitalization were explored.The results showed that the new quality productive forces led by key digital technologies had a more substantial effect on supply chain digitalization,improving energy efficiency in production and enhancing supply chain efficiency,demand-supply matching,supply relationship stability,and supplier innovation.(3) The study also explored the mechanisms of digital supply chain finance,finding that unlike the insignificant effect of general digital technology innovation,digital supply chain finance significantly improved information asymmetry and alleviated financing constraints in the supply chain.Based on these findings,the study recommends that efforts should focus on strengthening the R&D and application of key digital technologies,promoting the indepth digitalization of supply chains,and developing digital supply chain finance to explore ‘de-nuclearization' models,ultimately contributing to the achievement of the ‘dual carbon' goals.
