基于概率计算的多进制LDPC译码器设计

摘要 LDPC码以其逼近香农极限的卓越性能,在多种通信标准中得到了广泛应用。现有的LDPC软判决译码算法虽然具有优异的译码性能,但由于其内部包含大量乘法等计算复杂度高的运算,导致这些算法在硬件实现上难度较大,资源消耗过高,进而造成资源利用率低下等问题。此外,这些算法难以实现完全的并行处理,这显然难以满足当前高速、高吞吐率的应用场景需求。针对这一问题,实现了一种基于概率计算的多进制LDPC译码器设计,该译码器在和积译码算法基础上,创新性地采用概率计算方式实现检查节点的更新,并设计了概率质量信息生成模块、符号信息生成模块等核心模块单元,以完成概率信息的计算。这种设计巧妙地将原本复杂的运算转化为简单的逻辑门功能实现,从而显著降低了硬件实现的难度与资源开销。经过仿真性能分析与比较,该译码器在LDPC(200,100)码型下的译码性能表现出色,误比特率与误帧率均可达到10-6量级,在高信噪比环境中具备极佳的纠错能力与抗噪能力,尤其适用于64进制及以上阶数的LDPC译码场景。 Due to the excellent near-Shannon-limit performance,LDPC codes have been widely adopted in various communication standards.Although current LDPC sof-decision decoding algorithms offer excellent decoding performance,they involve numerous high-complexity operations,such as multiplications,making hardware implementation difficult and resulting in excessive resource consumption and low utilization.Moreover,these algorithms struggle to achieve full parallel processing,which clearly cannot meet the requirements in current high-speed and high-throughput application scenarios.To address these challenges,this paper presents the design of a non-binary LDPC decoder based on probabilistic computation.Based on the sum-product algorithm,this decoder innovatively updates check nodes using probabilistic computation and design the core modules,such as probability quality information generation and symbol information generation,to perform probabilistic information calculations,This design cleverly transforms complex operations into simple logic gate functions,significantly reducing the complexity and resource overhead of hardware implementation.Simulation and performance analysis demonstrate that the decoder achieves excellent performance for LDPC(200,100),with bit error rate and frame error rate as low as 10-6.It also exhibits strong error correction and noise resistance capabilities in high signal-to-noise ratio environments,making it especially suitable for LDPC decoding scenarios with 64-ary and higher-order codes.
