摘要
以科技创新为引领盘活城市经济活力、提升城市发展韧性是未来城市发展的必然选择。从人口集聚和经济集聚双重视角展开分析,并基于2008—2021年城市面板数据,考察集聚效应对城市科技创新能力的影响和作用机制。研究发现:(1)城市集聚会通过创新要素流动效应、匹配效应和知识溢出效应对城市科技创新产生显著的促进效果;(2)由于城市创新支持力度和创新人力资本存量的不同,城市集聚对城市科技创新存在显著的非线性影响;(3)人口集聚和经济集聚的耦合协调关系同城市科技创新水平呈现出显著的正向变动关系,即人口集聚和经济集聚耦合协调程度越高,集聚对科技创新的促进效果越强。要重视城市集聚对科技创新的积极影响,进一步提升城市科技创新水平,充分发挥创新要素流动效应、匹配效应和知识溢出效应,提升城市科技创新效率;加快城市内部人口与经济要素的流动与汇集,为提升城市创新活力提供更为充分的要素支撑。
The revitalization of urban economic vitality and the enhancement of urban development resilience led by science and technology innovation have become the inevitable choice for future urban development.This study analyzes from the dual perspectives of population agglomeration and economic agglomeration,and examines the impact and mechanism of agglomeration effect on the scientific and technological innovation capacity of cities based on the city panel data from 2008 to 2021.It is found that:First,urban agglomeration will have a significant promotion effect on urban S&T innovation through the flow effect of innovation factors,matching effect and knowledge spillover effect,and this effect shows a gradual enhancement of the trend of change with the improvement of the level of urban innovation;Second,due to the difference in the city’s innovation support and the stock of innovative human capital,there is a significant nonlinear effect of urban agglomeration on urban S&T innovation;Third,the coupled and coordinated relationship between population agglomeration and economic agglomeration and the level of urban S&T innovation shows a significant positive relationship,that is,the higher the degree of coupled and coordinated population agglomeration and economic agglomeration,the stronger the effect of agglomeration on the promotion of S&T innovation.We should attach importance to the positive impact of urban agglomeration on technological innovation,further enhance the level of urban technological innovation,fully leverage the flow effect,matching effect,and knowledge spillover effect of innovation factors,improve the efficiency of urban technological innovation,accelerate the flow and aggregation of population and economic factors within the city,and provide more sufficient factor support for enhancing urban innovation vitality.
