摘要
典籍英译的多维度研究有利于加速实现中国文化从“走出去”到“走进去”的愿景。当下,数字技术与语言研究的融合为翻译研究新范式指明了路径。本研究利用Python自然语言处理技术分析海外主流书评网站上《庄子》的评论数据,以定量与定性相结合的方式挖掘读者的情感态势及关注热点,考察译本在海外的传播与接受情况。研究发现:海外读者对《庄子》译本的整体接受度良好,读者关注重点聚集在其哲学内涵、文学价值与翻译3个方面。本研究可为提升中国典籍海外传播效果、加速中华文化对外传播提供资鉴。
Research on translation of Chinese classics from multiple perspectives is conducive to enhancing the impact ofChinese culture overseas. Currently, the integration of digital technology and language research paves the way for anew paradigm of translation research. This study, by way of natural language processing technology in Python,collects, processes and analyses the review data to explore overseas communication effect and reception of ChuangTzu . Readers sentiments and major concerns are analyzed by a mixed way of qualitative and quantitative methods.The two major research findings are as follows. Oversea readers have a desirable acceptance of Chuang Tzu;readers main concern goes to three aspects of the classic: philosophical meanings, literary value and translation. Thisstudy will shed light on the reception of other Chinese classics and promote the global dissemination and recognitionof Chinese culture.
