This study aims to design a growable ergonomic desk and chair based on the symbiotic system and verify the feasibility and innovation of the design by constructing the model.A series of systematic design methods and theoretical analysis tools were used in the study.Firstly, the KJ method is used to classify and analyze user needs in detail to ensure that the diversified needs of users are fully considered in the design process. Then,FAHP and QFD integration models are applied to construct the correlation between user requirements and design requirements. The FAHP method is employed to determine the weight of different user requirements, identifying core demands. The QFD approach translates these demands into design requirements, ensuring a consistent and focused design solution. In response to the technical contradictions and challenges encountered during the design process,TRIZ theory is applied to provide innovative solutions to effectively solve key technical problems. The growth ergonomic desks and chairs based on the symbiotic system not only meet the user's needs for comfort, adaptability, and aesthetics but also demonstrate significant advantages in environmental adaptability, sustainability, and innovation.By integrating the KJ method,FAHP/QFD model, and TRIZ theory, this study introduces a new design concept and methodology, offering effective guidance for the design of growable furniture and providing valuable reference for future furniture design innovations.
