摘要
言据性是表明说话人信息来源及其对信息态度的一种语言现象。党的二十大报告是凝聚全党智慧、反映人民意愿的纲领性文献,其英译本是建构中国国际话语权和国家形象的有力载体。党的二十大报告(英译本)通过不同据素的使用建构了说话人可信者、权威者、责任者的身份,向国际社会和公众真实、客观、立体地展示了中国的辉煌成就,建构了实事求是、脚踏实地为人民服务,始终致力于维护世界和平、促进共同发展,以开放包容的胸襟推动构建人类命运共同体的国家形象。
Evidentiality is a linguistic phenomenon which indicates the speaker’s source of information and his or her attitude towards the information.Report to the 20th National Congress of the CPC is a programmatic document that embodies the wisdom of the whole Party and the whole country.The English version of the report is a powerful carrier for constructing China’s international discourse power and national image.It is found that the report constructs the speaker’s identity as trustworthy,authoritative and responsible through different evidentials,presents China’s brilliant achievements to the international community and the public in a real,objective and all-round way,and constructs the national image of being practical and down-to-earth when serving the people,and committed to maintaining world peace,promoting common development,and building a community with a shared future for mankind with an open and inclusive mind.
