摘要
作为逆境中自我恢复与成长的一种能力,创业韧性帮助创业者在不确定性环境中获取和保存创业资源以提升创业绩效。本文基于资源保存理论探讨创业韧性对创业绩效的差异影响,通过分析254份创业者数据发现,创业韧性分为恢复韧性和成长韧性,两者均对创业绩效有积极影响。创业韧性与创业绩效的关系受到创业者特征的影响:创业者的失败恐惧强化成长韧性与创业绩效的关系,但首次创业者和连续创业者的创业韧性与创业绩效的关系不存在差异性。创业韧性与创业绩效的关系呈现阶段性和规模性特征:随着企业年龄和企业规模增大,创业韧性对创业绩效的影响减弱。研究明晰了创业韧性不同维度对创业绩效的作用机制和边界条件,为创业者利用韧性实现资源保存和开发进而提升创业绩效提供实践启示。
Entrepreneurial resilience is the ability of an individual to operate effectively under adverse,stressful,and uncertain conditions.Previous studies have analyzed the positive role of entrepreneurial resilience in entrepreneurial activities in the following two situations.On the one hand,it indicated that entrepreneurial resilience,as positive psychological capital,could better adapt to changes,stimulated entrepreneurial enthusiasm,and had a positive impact on successful entrepreneurship in general situations.On the other hand,it explored the mechanism of entrepreneurial resilience in the context of a crisis,such as analyzed the role of entrepreneurial resilience in promoting entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial activities in a period of war or economic crisis.However,we still have a limited understanding of this positive utility can act on the venture level and improve entrepreneurial performance.Based on the Conservation of Resources Theory,this study analyzes the differential impact of entrepreneurial resilience on entrepreneurial performance and its transformation conditions,and a theoretical model has been constructed.Through the analysis of 254 entrepreneurs′questionnaire data,we find that entrepreneurial resilience is divided into the two forms of recovery resilience and growth resilience,which have differential effects on entrepreneurial performance.The higher the recovery resilience of entrepreneurs,the stronger their ability to quickly adapt to pressure and negative emotions and successfully deal with difficulties.They can more effectively overcome the pressure caused by the loss of resources in the entrepreneurial process,avoiding falling into a loss spiral,collect and preserve resources,and achieve entrepreneurial performance.The higher the growth toughness,the better the ability to surpass the present when dealing with adversity and the better the ability to identify opportunities and creatively integrate resources in the interaction with the environment,realize resource appreciation,and im
