川西高原四川红杉树轮宽度和密度对气候的响应分异性

Differences in responses of tree-ring width and density of Larix mastersiana to climatic factors in the west Sichuan Plateau

摘要 探究树木生长对气候的响应可为预测气候变化背景下树木生长及森林生产力未来趋势提供重要信息。结合树轮宽度和密度多指标数据,本研究分析了我国西南地区四川红杉(Larix mastersiana)生长对气候的响应特征及其在时间上的变化情况。研究结果显示,四川红杉年轮宽度指数、早材宽度指数与晚材宽度指数之间存在显著(P<0.01)的正相关,表明这3个轮宽指标值的年际变动具有高度的同步性;最小密度和早材平均密度变化呈现极显著(P<0.01)正相关,表明这两个密度指标的年际变化也存在高度的同步性;最大密度与晚材平均密度高度相关,指示这两个指标也具有紧密的关联性。各树轮指标对气候要素的响应分析表明:树轮宽度指标(年轮宽度指数、早材宽度指数和晚材宽度指数)与生长季(5月、6月)降水变化呈正相关,而与生长季前的冬季(1月、2月)降水变化呈负相关;与轮宽指标不同,树轮密度指标(早材平均密度指数、最小密度指数、晚材平均密度指数和最大密度指数)的变化则主要受温度影响。早材平均密度指数、最小密度指数与生长季早期(3月、4月、5月)温度具有较高的正相关关系,而晚材平均密度指数、最大密度指数与生长季后期(9月、10月)温度呈显著正相关。各树轮指标指数序列与气候要素的滑动相关分析结果显示:两个与早材相关的密度指标(即早材平均密度和最小密度)与温度的相关关系在近期呈现增强趋势,晚材平均密度、最大密度与生长季早期(5月)温度的相关关系在时间上存在不稳定性、而与生长季后期(9月、10月)温度的关系相对稳定。该研究揭示了四川红杉各树轮指标对气候要素的响应的差异性及其在时间上的稳定性,有助于理解川西高原地区针叶树种生长与气候之间的响应关系。 Clarifying the response differences of different tree-ring parameters to climatic factors are critical for understanding the relationship between tree growth and climate changes.In this study,we investigated the response characteristics of tree-ring width and density of Larix mastersiana to climatic factors(i.e.,monthly air temperature and precipitation)as well as the temporal stability.The tree-ring samples,including 21 tree-ring cores from 14 trees,were collected at one site(33.27°N,103.77°E,2668m a.s.l.)in the West Sichuan Plateau in China,which were used for obtaining tree-ring indicators such as tree-ring width,earlywood width,latewood width,average earlywood density,minimum density,average latewood density and maximum density.The chronologies of these tree-ring indicators cover a common period of 1806~2013.The data of climate variables,including precipitation,mean temperature,minimum temperature and maximum temperature,were obtained from Songpan Meteorological Station close to our sampling site.Our results showed that there were significantly(P<0.01)positive correlations among the ring width index,earlywood width index,and latewood width index of this species,indicating a high degree of synchronicity in the interannual changes of the three ring-width indices.The minimum density was significantly(P<0.01)and positively correlated with average earlywood density,which implied a high degree of synchronicity in the interannual changes of the two-tree ring-density parameters.Furthermore,a strong association occurred between maximum density and average latewood density,both of which were also significantly(P<0.01)and positively correlated with minimum density and average earlywood density.Response analysis of the different tree-ring parameters to climatic factors showed that tree ring-width parameters(i.e.,ring width,earlywood width and latewood width)correlated with precipitation positively in May and June and negatively in January and February.Different to the ring-width parameters,tree ring-density parameters(
