Leather materials are known for their excellent abrasion resistance,comfort and durability,and these properties make them one of the favoured materials in the manufacture of sports equipment.Compared with other syn⁃thetic materials,leather materials have higher breathability and softness,which can provide more comfortable wearing experience and reduce athletesdiscomfort during competition or training.In addition,leather material also has excel⁃lent tensile strength and tear resistance,which can ensure that the sports equipment in a long time use to maintain sta⁃ble performance,to extend its service life.This paper mainly discussed the application field,application advantage and market prospect of leather material in sports equipment industry,aiming at providing reference and inspiration for related industries,promoting technological innovation and sustainable development in the field of sports equipment,and promoting the industry to a higher level.
