摘要
本草文化是中华民族长期进行本草实践与探索的经典成果,是兼具自然属性、专业技术特征及社会文化属性的中华文化瑰宝。本草药名是本草文化的重要组分,本草药名字简义博,除代表特定事物外,在药名中还直接体现出传统中医药学的性味、功能主治、阴阳五行等基本理论,还蕴涵着广博的中华文化元素,如自然属性、地理、历史、诸子百家、神话传说、数字等,有的药名中还隐含着特定的家国情怀、人文情怀及外域文化等。中药有1万余种,多种药物一药数名,可统计的中药正名及异名有数万个,药名中的文化元素体现出本草文化的精博内涵。
Materia medica culture is a classic achievement which is the long-term practice and cognition of materia medica by the Chinese.It is a treasure of Chinese culture with both professional technical characteristics and social-cultural attributes.As an important part of materia medica culture,the materia medica name is simple but broad and profound.In addition to representing specific things,it also directly reflects the basic theories of traditional Chinese medicine,such as tastes,functions,Yin-Yang,and five elements.The materia medica name contains extensive Chinese cultural elements,such as natural qualities,geographies,histories,various schools of thought,myths,numbers,etc.Some materia medica names also contain specific feelings of home and country,humanism,and foreign culture.There are more than 10,000 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine,many known by several names.There are tens of thousands of authentic and synonymous names that can be counted.The cultural elements in the materia medica name contain the essence of materia medica culture.
