摘要
【目的】在众多不断涌现的英文新刊的巨大竞争压力下,以创办较早的英文科技期刊为例,探索其如何进行改革和突围,走出一条适合自己的发展之路。【方法】以国内第一种光学类英文期刊《中国光学快报》(Chinese Optics Letters,COL)为例,着重介绍COL一系列改革创新的探索与实践,并进行分析和总结。【结果】COL通过对编委会进行改革、转变编辑工作模式、提高论文质量、加强期刊特色等一系列措施,从各个方面大力促进期刊的国际化、数字化和集群化发展,从而成功吸引优质稿源,保持其在光学领域的主流期刊地位,国际影响力和影响因子持续提升,影响因子由0.804提升至3.5,跃居光学领域期刊Q2区,且发文量名列前茅。【结论】COL的发展之路具有一定的普适性和可行性,希望能为国内其他科技期刊同行的工作提供一定的参考。
[Purposes]Under the competitive pressure of numerous emerging English journals,taking an earlier established English scientific journal as an example,this study explores how the journal reforms and breaks through to find a development path that suits itself.[Methods]Taking the first optical English journal in China,Chinese Optics Letters(COL),as an example,this study focused on the exploration and practice of a series of reforms and innovations in COL and summarized them.[Findings]COL has vigorously promoted its internationalization,digitization,and clustering development through a series of measures such as reforming previous editorial boards,transforming editorial work modes,improving paper quality,and strengthening journal characteristics,which help COL to successfully attract high-quality manuscript sources and maintain its mainstream position in the optical field.Its international influence and impact factor have continued to increase,with the impact factor increasing from 0.804 to 3.5,leaping to the Q2 zone of the journal in optics and ranking among the top in terms of number of publications.[Conclusions]The development path of COL has a certain degree of universality and feasibility,which may provide a reference for other scientific journals in China.
