摘要
周期性微纳米结构光子晶体(PCs)通过干涉、衍射和可见光散射可以产生明亮的结构色。将光子晶体结构单元有序嵌固在水凝胶等柔性材料中,可以获得具有刺激响应变色能力的响应性光子晶体凝胶材料(RPHs)。RPHs可以有效检测温度、离子、气体、生物分子以及机械力。然而,有限的机械性能往往会限制其实际应用。本文首先合成具有靓丽结构色的PC层,然后在PC层的上下分别引入高强度的支撑层,构建了一种具有高强度的夹心结构光子晶体水凝胶。该凝胶具有1400%的应变和0.85 MPa的应力,并且表现明显的机械力至变色性能。当凝胶从0%拉伸至63%时,反射光谱发生了77 nm的迁移,变色灵敏度为1.22 nm·%^(-1)。
Periodic micro/nanostructured photonic crystals(PCs)can generate vivid structural colors through interference,diffraction,and visible light scattering.By incorporating the ordered photonic crystal structural units into flexible materials such as hydrogels,responsive photonic crystal hydrogels(RPHs)with stimuli-responsive color changes can be obtained.RPHs can effectively detect temperature,ions,gases,biomolecules,and mechanical forces.However,limited mechanical properties tend to restrict its practical applications.In this study,a novel photonic crystal hydrogel with sandwich structure and high strength is constructed by synthesizing the PC layer with bright structural color,and then introducing high-strength support layers above and below the PC layer,respectively.The hydrogel has a strain of 1400% and a stress of 0.85 MPa,and exhibits obvious mechanochromic properties.When the hydrogel is stretched from 0%to 63%,there is a 77 nm shift in the reflection spectrum,with a color-change sensitivity of 1.22 nm·%^(-1).
