Examining the"Underwater Archaeology"VR experience system introduced by the Taipei 13 Coins Museum at the end of 2016 as a case study, this research investigates whether the construction of virtual reality systems contributes to enhancing museum visitors'learning outcomes. The findings indicate that the construction of virtual reality systems has varying degrees of significant positive impacts on museum visitors'knowledge and understanding, attitudes and values, pleasure and inspiration, and creativity. However,it does not have a significant impact on the professional skills and behavioral actions of museum visitors. In the future, when museums plan and develop virtual reality experience projects, they can focus on strengthening the perceptual usability and utility of the system, and enhancing the freedom of the experiential space to meet the audience's needs for relaxation, immersion, and interaction.
