不同粒径淀粉对水基钻井液性能的影响

摘要 淀粉具有来源广、无毒易降解的特点,可有效降低钻井液泥饼厚度,常被作为降滤失剂应用于水基钻井液中。为了探讨不同粒径淀粉对钻井液增粘、降滤失效果的影响,通过球磨方法制备微细淀粉,使其评价粒径从38.87μm降低至10.32μm,增大了淀粉的比表面积,可在钻井液中与更多的水分子接触,提高淀粉分子上的氢键与水分子之间的水化作用和黏土颗粒的吸附能力,其降滤失效果优于玉米淀粉、羧甲基纤维素(CMC),羟乙基纤维素(HEC)。淀粉粒径分布的改变影响了水基钻井液的流变性以及降滤失性能,这一发现以期为钻井现场优选淀粉降滤失剂提供技术指导。 Starch has the characteristics of wide source,non-toxic and easy degradation,which can effectively reduce the mud cake thickness of drilling fluid,and it is often used as a fluid loss reducer in water-based drilling fluid.In order to explore the effects of different particle sizes of starch on viscosity increasing and filtration reduction of drilling fluid,this paper prepared micro-starch by ball milling method,reducing its estimated particle size from 38.87μm to 10.32μm,increasing the specific surface area of starch,and allowing it to contact with more water molecules in drilling fluid.The hydration between the hydrogen bond on starch molecules and water molecules and the adsorption capacity of clay particles were improved,and the filtration reduction effect was better than that of corn starch,carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)and hydroxyethyl cellulose(HEC).The change of starch particle size distribution affects the rheology and fluid loss reduction performance of water-based drilling fluid.This finding is expected to provide technical guidance for the selection of starch fluid loss reduction agents on drilling sites.
