摘要
年龄相关性听力障碍(age-related hearing impairment,ARHI)也称为老年性耳聋,是一种进行性、对称性、不可逆的双侧感音神经性听力损失。老年性耳聋的发生发展是遗传、环境暴露、健康共病及与衰老相关的病理生理变化等多因素的综合作用。耳蜗毛细胞的退化是老年性耳聋的主要原因之一,然而介导耳蜗毛细胞凋亡的分子机制尚不完全清楚。miRNA在细胞增殖、转移、凋亡、衰老等重要的生物学过程中都起着至关重要的作用。目前,大量miRNA已被证实与老年性聋有密切关系,并成为有希望的治疗靶点。为了更好地理解和探索miRNA在老年性聋中的作用,以及其可能会带来的创新治疗,文章概括了与老年性耳聋相关的重要miRNA。
Age-related hearing impairment(ARHI),also known as age-related deafness,is progressive,symmetric,irreversible bilateral sensorineural hearing loss.The development of age-related deafness is a multifactorial combination of genetics,environmental exposures,health co-morbidities,and pathophysiological changes associated with aging.Degeneration of cochlear hair cells is one of the major causes of age-related deafness;however,the molecular mechanisms mediating apoptosis of cochlear hair cells are not fully understood.miRNAs play critical roles in important biological processes such as cell proliferation,metastasis,apoptosis,and aging.Currently,a large number of miRNAs have been shown to be closely associated with age-related deafness and potentially promising therapeutic targets.To better understand and explore the role of miRNAs in age-related deafness and their potentials for innovative therapies,this article outlines important miRNAs associated with age-related deafness.
