The complexity of shooting lies not only in the precise control of the upper body,such as the coordination of wrists,arms and shoulders,but also in the strong support of the lower body,especially hip muscles.The function of hip muscles is to provide necessary strength and stability to help players maintain balance during shooting and ensure the smoothness of shooting and the coherent transmission of strength.This article explores the relationship between basketball shooting techniques and the use of hip muscles,and proposes how to optimize shooting techniques by enhancing hip muscles.
