摘要
“文城”是余华用业已失落的语言经验铸起的一座寓言之城。小说以溪镇这一典型意义上的南方空间内部诸要素的平衡与再平衡过程,提示出当代汉语写作在表达特殊地域经验时所遭遇的言说(语言)危机。这一问题的意义框架经由《兄弟》带出,并在《文城》中被具象化为一个关于“寻找”的失落故事。与此同时,在稳定的寓言性层面上,余华关于“南方”(江南)经验的想象与表达,也在小说补篇“增补”的叙事氛围中得到了升华。小说尾声部分,当余华再次通过“增补”和“提纯”的叙事手段,将人物在“灾变”中生成的历史经验与异质性感受,带入溪镇这个“再平衡”了的空间当中时,它表明余华已经将一个语言问题转化为叙事问题,并完成了对小说文本稳定的象征框架及其意义形式的系统性重构。
Wencheng is an allegorical city forged by Yu Hua out of his lost linguistic experience.The balance and rebalancing process of the elements within the typical southern space of Xizhen suggests the speech(language)crisis that contemporary Chinese writing encounters when expressing a particular regional experience.The meaningful framework of this problem is brought out through Brothers,and is visualized in Wencheng as a lost story about seeking.At the same time,on a stable allegorical level,Yu Hua's imagination and expression of the“south”(Jiangnan)experience are sublimated in the narrative atmosphere that is“supplemented”by the novel's addendum.More crucially,it is in the narrative atmosphere of the addendum that Wencheng turns the problem of transmitting linguistic experience into a narrative one.At the end of the novel,when Yu Hua once again brings the characters'historical experiences and heterogeneous feelings generated by the disaster into the“rebalanced”space of Xizhen through the narrative means of“supplementation”and“purification”,it shows that Yu Hua has transformed a language problem into a narrative problem and completed the systematic reconstruction of the stable symbolic framework of the novel text and its meaning forms.
