步平先生的日本朋友圈,主要是有良知的日本进步人士,包括积极反省与追究日本战争责任的和平友好人士、从事中日关系史研究的专家学者和参与中日共同历史研究的各界人士。他们开展的反战和平运动、学术交流和共同研究、编撰的历史辅助教材与研究报告,其影响已不局限于中日之间和东亚地区,而是逐步走向世界。步平先生和他的日本朋友们,无论开展日本的战争罪责调查与追究,还是从事中日关系史研究,目的是促进中日相互了解和理解,为实现中日历史“和解”奠定基础,为维护中日世代友好和世界和平稳定创造条件。无论未来如何,步平先生和他的日本朋友圈已成为中日学术交流史上的一段佳话。
Mr.Bu ping's circle of Japanese friends is mainly conscientious Japanese progressive,including personages of peace and friendship who actively reflect on and hold Japan accountable for the war,the experts and scholars who engage in the re-search of the history of Sino-Japanese relations,as well as the people from all walks of life who involve in the research of Sino-Japanese common history.The impact of their anti-war movement for peace,academic communication,joint research,and the compilation of teaching materials for history and research reports,is no longer limited to China,Japan and other East Asian region,but gradually spreads to the world.Mr.Bu Ping and his Japanese friends,whether conducting investigation and accountability of Ja-pan's war crimes or engaging in researches on the history of Sino-Japanese relations,aim to promote mutual understanding be-tween China and Japan,lay the foundation for the historical"reconciliation"between China and Japan,and create conditions for safeguarding a longstanding China-Japan friendship and world peace and stability.Regardless of the future,Mr.Bu ping and his circle of Japanese friends have become a beautiful story in the history of academic communication between China and Japan.
