摘要
新文科是顺应时代发展、国家发展和高校发展需求,提高高等教育质量而提出的“四新”建设学科之一。在新文科背景下,外语专业教育作为高等教育中不可分割的有机组成部分,应抓住机遇、积极应变、主动求变。该文首先分析新文科的内涵与特点,然后阐述新文科建设背景下外语专业发展面临的主要任务,并据此提出外语专业未来发展路径,例如,完善外语专业复合型人才培养目标,推进外语专业课程思政改革,提升外语专业教师能力,以对接新文科建设,更好地服务于国家发展战略需求。
New Liberal arts is one of the“four new”disciplines proposed to meet the needs of contemporary development,our country,and universities,with the aim of improving the quality of higher education.In the context of New Liberal Arts construction,foreign language education,as an integral part of higher education,should seize the opportunity,actively adapt,and seek changes.This paper begins by analyzing the connotation and characteristics of New Liberal Arts.Subsequently,it elaborates on the main tasks faced by the development of foreign language majors,and finally puts forward some measures to promote the development of foreign language majors.For instance,enhancing the training objectives for foreign language majors,promoting the integration of ideological and political education into the curriculum,and improving the abilities of foreign language teachers.All of these measures are aimed at aligning with the construction requirements of New Liberal Arts to better serve China’s development strategies.
