大学本科教育回报率的实证研究

An Empirical Study of Returns on Undergraduate Education in Universities

摘要 基于中国社会综合调查(CGSS)数据,利用明瑟收入方程,采用最小二乘法、工具变量法与分位数回归法,测算大学本科教育回报率及其变动趋势,探讨大学本科教育对于个体收入的影响。发现大学本科教育对于个体收入具有显著的正向提升效应,但提升的幅度有所下降。大学本科教育对于不同收入水平群体的影响具有差异性,随着时间的推移,高收入群体和低收入群体间教育回报率差距在不断缩小,且低收入群体的教育回报率更高,说明接受大学本科教育能有效提升低收入群体的收入,有利于缩小收入差距。同时接受大学本科教育对于中等收入群体的增收幅度有所下降,需要防止中等收入陷阱,提升大学本科教育的质量。 Based on the CGSS data provided by the China General Social Survey program,using the Mincer income equation,the least squares method,the instrumental variables method,and the interquartile regression method were adopted to calculate the return rate of the undergraduate education and its change trend,and discuss the impact of undergraduate education on individual income.It is found that undergraduate education has a significant positive enhancement effect on individual income,but the magnitude of the enhancement has decreased.The impact of undergraduate education on groups with different income levels is different,with the passage of time,the gap in the rate of return on education between high-income groups and low-income groups keep shrinking,and the rate of return on education is higher in low-income groups,which indicates that receiving undergraduate education can effectively improve the income of low-income groups,which is conducive to narrowing the income gap.At the same time,the income increase of the middle income group has decreased due to the undergraduate education,so it is necessary to prevent the middle-income trap and improve the quality of undergraduate education.
