摘要
现代奥林匹克运动成为现代社会最引人注目的全球社会活动之一,一个重要的原因在于其丰富的民族主义表达方式,因此,现代奥林匹克运动与民族主义的互动关系备受政界重视,成为学界日益关注的研究课题。该文主要采用文献资料和逻辑分析法,从“想象的社区、胜利的象征意义、国际奥委会及奥运会的外交功能、国家展示平台”4个方面深入阐释了现代奥林匹克运动与民族主义的互动方式,从不同层面揭示了现代奥林匹克运动建构民族主义的内在动力联系。以“族群—象征”民族主义理论范式为依据,对二者互动背后的理论逻辑进行了探析。研究认为,现代奥林匹克运动推动民族主义形成的众多原因可归结为“体能文化、体育环境与体育事件”等族群原生因素与“游戏规则、仪式程序与象征符号”等现代象征元素两大类,这些影响因素在民族主义形成的“自发”和“建构”过程中发挥着不同的作用,进而构建或是狭隘的国家民族主义、或是和平的国际民族主义等不同类型的民族主义。通过系统论证现代奥林匹克运动与民族主义建构的实践方式和理论逻辑,明晰现代奥林匹克运动在不同民族主义建构中发挥不同功能的过程,旨在让现代奥林匹克运动在人类命运共同体的建构中发挥其积极正面的特殊价值。
The modern Olympics movement has become one of the most striking global social activities in modern society,an important reason for which lies in its rich nationalistic expressions,So the interactive relationship between modern Olympics moverment and nationalism has received much attention from political circles,and has become a research topic of increasing concern in academic circles.Mainly using the methods of literature and logical analysis,this paper elaborates on the interaction between modern Olympics moverment and nationalism from four aspects:"the imagined community,the symbolic significance of victory,the diplomatic functions of the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Games,and the national display platform",revealing the internal dynamic connection between modern Olympics moverment and the construction of nationalism from different levels.Based on the theoretical paradigm of"ethnic group symbol"nationalism,this paper analyzes the theoretical logic behind the interaction between the two,and believes that the reasons why modern Olympics moverment promote the formation of nationalism can be summarized into two categories:ethnic origin factors such as"physical culture,sports environment,and sports events",and modern symbolic elements such as"game rules,ritual procedures,and symbolic symbols".These influencing factors play different roles in the"spontaneous"and"constructive"processes of the formation of nationalism,leading to the construction of different types of nationalism,such as narrow national nationalism or peaceful international nationalism.By systematically demonstrating the practical methods and theoretical logic of modern Olympics moverment and the construction of nationalism,it is clear that the process of modern Olympics moverment playing different roles in the construction of different nationalism is aimed at enabling the modern Olympics moverment to play its positive and special value in the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
