摘要
随着中国“走出去”战略的进一步实施,中资跨国企业已成为全球跨国公司中的“后起之秀”,这些中国跨国企业的社会责任问题也随之受到了各方关注。文章从非市场战略理论视角出发,将中资跨国企业的东道国社会责任分为隐性社会责任和显性社会责任,在理论分析两种社会责任对企业海外绩效影响机制的基础上,选取56家中资跨国企业在2015—2017年共168个观测值作为研究样本,并利用SPSS19.0对样本进行了实证检验。研究发现:中资跨国企业的隐性社会责任和显性社会责任与其海外绩效呈显著正相关;中资跨国企业的组织合法性在隐性社会责任与其海外绩效之间、显性社会责任与其海外绩效之间都起到了中介作用;中资跨国企业的国际化程度负向调节了隐性社会责任与其海外绩效之间的正效应。研究结论有利于阐明中资企业在跨国经营中重视企业社会责任的问题,也为其更好地开展海外经营活动以及改善企业绩效提供了参考借鉴。
With the further implementation of China’s“going out”strategy,Chinese-funded multinational enterprises have become the“rising star”among global multinational corporations,and the social responsibility of these Chinese-funded multina⁃tional enterprises has also received attention from all sides.From the perspective of non-market strategy theory,this paper classi⁃fies the host country social responsibility of Chinese-funded multinational enterprises into implicit social responsibility and explic⁃it social responsibility,and on the basis of theoretical analysis of the impact mechanisms of the two types of social responsibility on the overseas performance of enterprises,a total of 168 observations of 56 Chinese-funded multinational enterprises in 2015-2017 were selected as the research sample,and SPSS 19.0 was used to conduct empirical tests on the samples.The study found that the implicit social responsibility and explicit social responsibility of Chinese-funded multinational enterprise are significantly and positively related to their overseas performance;the organizational legitimacy of Chinese-funded multinational enterprises plays an intermediary role between implicit social responsibility and their overseas performance,and between explicit social re⁃sponsibility and their overseas performance;the degree of internationalization of Chinese-funded multinational enterprises nega⁃tively moderates the positive effect between implicit social responsibility and their overseas performance.The findings of this pa⁃per are helpful in elucidating the importance of corporate social responsibility in the multinational operations of Chinese-funded enterprises,and also provide references for their better overseas operations and improved corporate performance.
