摘要
以2010—2020年沪深A股2106家企业为样本,从探索式创新视角检验了企业高管团队的能力共享度影响企业绩效的内在逻辑与机制。研究表明:高管团队的创业能力共享度和管理能力共享度正向影响企业绩效,技术能力共享度负向影响企业绩效,探索式创新战略在创业、管理、技术能力共享度与企业绩效的影响关系中均发挥了部分中介效应。进一步分析发现:高管团队的创业、管理、技术三类能力共享度以“高—高—低”组合而产生的协同效应最强,能够强化企业的探索式创新,进而对企业绩效产生积极影响;通过高管技术能力组合的二维分析,探索了技术能力共享度的复杂作用机制,发现基础且重叠或基础且分散的技术高管组合很难取得创新突破,高级且重叠或高级且分散的组合模式更能实现探索式创新。上述发现在替换因变量测度指标、考虑行业偏差以及内生性后,主要结果依然稳健。本文从探索式创新视角阐释了高管团队的能力共享度影响组织绩效的内在逻辑与作用机理,为企业通过高管团队能力组合建设来应对创新挑战、打破成长阻力提供了借鉴,具有一定实践价值。
Taking 2106 A-Share listed companies from 2010 to 2020 as research samples,it regarded the sharedness of competence as a proxy variable of the characteristics of the top management team(TMT),and explored the internal logical mechanisms of the sharedness of TMT competence and enterprise performance from the perspective of exploratory innovation.The results show that the sharedness of entrepreneuship and management competences positively affects enterprise performance,while the sharedness of technology competence negatively affects enterprise performance.Exploratory innovation strategy has a partially mediating effect on the relationship between the sharedness of entrepreneuship,management,and technology competences and enterprise performance.Further analysis shows that the sharedness of entrepreneurship,management and technology,has the strongest synergy resulting from the combination of“high-high-low”,which can strengthen the exploratory innovation of the enterprise and thus have a positive impact on performance.The four-way pattern of“senior technology competence combination”deeply explains the negative effect of the sharedness of technology competence.The combination of basic and overlapping,and basic and scattered technology executives is awkward.The combination pattern of advanced and overlapping,and advanced and decentralized shows that technology competence specialization is the key to overcoming the difficulties of hard sciences and technologies.The main results remain robust after replacing the dependent variable indicators,considering industry bias and endogeneity.From the perspective of exploratory innovation,it broadens the internal logical mechanisms of the sharedness of TMT competence and enterprise performance,which have certain practical value for how enterprises build top management teams to cope with the innovation dilemma and improve their performance.
