摘要
针对复杂的高速交通系统,设计了一套基于MATLAB的车牌识别系统,采用数字图像处理技术,自动识别车牌图像中的牌照信息,让交通系统实现数字化。具体过程是先对采集到的车牌图像进行灰度化,再进行边缘检测、形态学处理等,完成车牌的两次定位,成功后再进行倾斜校正、二值化、反色、字符分割,最后用模版匹配法对车牌字符进行识别。从实验结果看,该系统准确定位车牌并能准确快速地识别出车牌号码,实时性和实用性都较好。
A license plate recognition system based on Matlab is designed for the complex high-speed traffic system,which can automatically recognize the license plate information in the vehicle license plate image using digital image processing technology,making the transportation system digital.The specific process is to first grayize the collected license plate image,then perform edge detection,morphological processing,and other processing to complete the two positioning of the license plate.Then conduct tilt correction,binarization,color inversion,and character segmentation.Finally,recognize the license plate characters using template matching method.The system can accurately locate the license plate and accurately and quickly identify the license plate number,with good real-time and practical performance.
