Objective:To systematically evaluate the decision-making experience of implantable cardioverter-defibrillation patients and provide references for better-assisting patients in decision-making.Methods:Qualitative data on the shared decision-making experience of implantable cardioverter defibrillation patients were retrieved from PubMed,EMbase,CINAHL,Web of Science, the Cochrane Library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),China Biology Medicine(CBM),and WanFang Database, from the establishment of the database to July 31,2022.The quality of the literature was evaluated using the standardized critical appraisal instruments from the Joanna Briggs Institute(JBI),and the results were integrated using a pooled integration method. Results:A total of 16 pieces of literature were included,53 research results were extracted, similar results were classified into 8 new categories, and 3 integrated results were synthesized:decision-making preference,decision-making dilemma, patients′cherish life, and desire to get social support. Conclusion:Medical staff should pay attention to patients′decision-making experience, optimize information support, improve communication practices, focus on psychological experience, fully consider patients′goals, values, and preferences, and promote patient-centered shared decision-making.
